Qualifications
• US work authorization (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age
• No felonies
• You are willing to participate in an extensive background security check.
• 1-3 years in cannabis related work preferred.
• Kitchen ServSafe certified preferred and at least 1 year of experience working in a food production or similar manufacturing environment.
• Managerial background
• Knowledge of the medical cannabis industry strongly preferred or other highly regulated industry.
• Work history showing flexibility and willingness to take on additional projects or challenges.
Job Description
Responsible for developing processed cannabis goods portfolio. Will be assisting with kitchen design and set up. Responsible for sourcing raw materials (cannabis & other) to facilitate execution of premium manufactured products. Responsible for execution of manufactured products including but not limited to making, storing, forecasting and packaging. The kitchen manager will be expected to provided product according to company guidelines and keep up with the demands put on production while maintaining accuracy. The kitchen manager must keep a clean and organized workspace. They have demonstrated experience working in an operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures.
The traditional holiday seasons are often busy in this industry and therefore this could lead to limited time off during these time frames. Nights and weekend availability.
Job Duties to include some or all of the tasks listed below:
• Conduct all duties in compliance with OSHA, state, local and company safety regulations, conducting safety inspections to ensure all equipment is operating optimally and safely.
• Train in food safety/sanitation and maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Ensure all functions are executed at the highest stand of quality and compliance.
• Processing harvest flower material
• Weighing and logging material
• Performing tests to ensure accuracy quality.
• Ensuring all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance.
• Displaying knowledge of dosing methods for accurate potency and homogenization
• Identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality control.
• Assist other kitchen staff with daily production of products using commercial machinery.
• Food safety knowledge and compliance to state regulations.
• Grating and sorting
• Communicate on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis with Dakota Natural Growers, Inc leadership & cross functional teams. Ensure the team is operating at maximum efficiency and adhering to all compliance related policies, laws and guidelines.
• Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. Effectively manage all employees on your team including weekly meetings and continuous job specific education and training.
• Will have weekly communication with the COO and CEO of any facility issues, concerns, and procedural changes.
Skills/Certifications:
• Valid background check status must be maintained-Local, State and Federal.
• Kitchen ServSafe certification.
• Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of cultivation kitchen and cultivation activities.
• Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to details.

Facility Technician

• HVAC, electrical and plumbing knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of the medical cannabis industry strongly preferred or other highly regulated industry.
• Work history showing flexibility and willingness to take on additional projects or challenges.
Responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained in a satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. The facility tech will be responsible for the upkeep of the facility and should have a variety of skills, such as HVAC, plumbing electrical, and carpentry.
The traditional holiday seasons are often busy in this industry and therefore this could lead to limited time off during these time frames. Weekends required.
Job Duties to include some or all of the tasks listed below:
• Diagnosis, repair and replace items and systems around the facility, to include lights, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc
• Solid foundation of facility awareness and a willingness to adhere to safety procedures and precautions.
• Routine HVAC maintenance for both Air Handlers and Dehu’s (Filter changes and Coil Cleaning)
• Assist with construction.
• Facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary. Assist in maintaining an immaculately clean facility with strict adherence to established cleaning protocols.
• Plumbing repairs to PVC lines
• Plumbing installs for new irrigation lines
• Work directly with team members to coordinate and resolve repair issues
• Actively participate in specialty maintenance projects and property upkeep
• Comfortable working on ladders
• Comfortable working with heavy equipment
• Install new equipment as needed.
• Trouble shoot minor repair maintenance problems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing (coordinating with external contractors and licensed tradesman)
• Assist with SOP maintenance relating to facility management.
